A new podcast series: POLES' CONTACT WITH MUSIC
We present a new podcast series, "POLES' CONNECTION WITH MUSIC," on YouTube and Facebook.
This series of six podcasts is an accessible presentation of the latest research on how contemporary Poles listen to music, attend concerts, and respond to market changes in the era of streaming and AI. Each episode features analytical results—including previously unpublished ones—based on research by Dr. Stanisław Trzciński and a representative sample of Polish residents. The podcast combines conversations with guests (artists, scientists, and journalists) with a short lecture segment. The visuals and narrative format allow it to reach artists, their managers, music industry employees, researchers, journalists, and the general public.
The project aims to improve the skills of those in the music industry and Polish music consumers, and to build an informed relationship with music in Poland. The intended results include a better understanding of trends, increased concert activity, the development of young artists, and the strengthening of the entire music market—one of the most important creative sectors supporting the economy. This podcast is about how we listen today, what moves us, and what we can do to bring music even closer to people.
